Juan Pablo Gonzalez has been an active member of the La Habra Advisory Board for NHSOC since 2000. In October 2006, he was one of the leading volunteers in designing a one-day leadership program for the local community that drew over 125 people with class sessions presented in English and Spanish. He has also volunteered at Rosie’s Garage tutoring and encouraging kids to excel in school and continue into college. Through his work, the NHSOC La Habra Advisory Board has high school members who encourage their peers to participate in “Pride Days” and neighborhood clean-up events. He has served on the board of directors of NHSOC since 2005.
