Oak Hill CDC,
Worcester, Massachusetts:
We thought this picture was a perfect example of a NeighborWorks organization that had a great event and participation despite the constant rain. A muddy T-shirt is no reason to stop the celebration, as this young leader-in-training clearly shows!

CATCH Neighborhood Housing, Concord, New Hampshire:
The rain couldn't keep away the volunteers at CATCH Neighborhood Housing's
Community Day.
Mutual Housing Association of South Central Connecticut, New Haven, Connecticut:
Face painting and clowns enlivened the streetscape of the Mutual Housing Kid
Festival last Saturday.
Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services, Manchester, New Hampshire:
Kids teamed up with staff to plant flowers in front of each entrance to the NHS
building on Elm Street. Will Stewart, Manchester NHS's new community services coordinator, was overrun by children when it came time to hand out the ice cream.

New Haven Neighborhood Housing Services, New Haven, Connecticut:
A special Orientation focusing on predatory lending was held. The NHS provided food and beverages, along with giveaways.
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program, Waterville, Maine:
More than 30 high school teachers from the Capitol Area Technical Center (CATV) turned out to work on KVCAP's Affordable Housing Project on Pleasant Hill Road in Augusta, Maine. Each year, students at CATV build a single family home to be sold by KVCAP's Affordable Housing Department. This year teachers from the school decided to spend a day volunteering to help finish the home. Despite the rainy weather, everyone had a delightful time.

Woonsocket Neighborhood Development Corporation, Woonsocket, Rhode Island:
Happy graduates of the Homebuyer Education classes proudly showed their
