Since 2008, NeighborWorks OAS has offered its services to nonprofit organizations outside the NeighborWorks network. In each case, the assessment resulted in valuable insights and specific steps to enhance organizational effectiveness. In many cases, a sponsoring organization such as a state housing agency or a foundation will contract with OAS to conduct a number of assessments to assist their partner nonprofits. The assessment is a supportive process for nonprofits that may be experiencing leadership transition, organizational growth and revised policies and procedures. |
