Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund Capacity Building Initiative

As part of a larger initiative designed to help CDFIs build their capacity and determine needs for training and technical assistance, OAS conducted 15 separate assessments for the CDFI Fund during 2011-12.  Depending on the needs of the CDFI, the assessment focused on issues of portfolio management and risk assessment, or liquidity and capitalization. Each of the CDFIs had different capacities, different objectives and were from diverse parts of the country.
